Watch the trailer for the new horror comedy Foo Fighters “Studio 666”

Foo fighters are the stars of a new horror comedy titled Workshop 666, that they have announced in december, and the first full trailer for the film is now available via Weekly entertainment.

The group’s 10th studio album Medicine at midnight released in February 2021, so it’s almost a year old now. If you remember, in March 2020 – a bad time to look back, we know – Dave grohl did an interview and said that he and the rest of the Foos were taunted by ghosts as they worked on the record in Encino, California

The house they worked in, which was apparently built in the 1940s, had strange vibes, according to the leader. They would come home the next day to listen to out of tune guitars, songs missing or new to Pro Tools, and other technological phenomena. The group decided to use baby monitors to try and capture some of the things they experienced that they “couldn’t explain”.

With Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee and Nate Mendel, Studio 666 tells the story of what rockers encountered when they created Medicine at midnight in this house. “The sound of this house is the sound of album 10,” Grohl said enthusiastically in the trailer, which you can check out below.

Directed by BJ McDonnell and written by Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes, the film hits theaters on February 25. tickets to see it here.
