“Apparently you’re supposed to do the full show and not just three quarters.”

Imagine your worst college drama club nightmare coming true.

The curtain fell and the play was forced to take a short 40-minute break as Taron was treated, and his understudy, Joel Harper-Jackson, replaced him.

“As some of you may have heard, I passed out during the first performance of Rooster tonight,” he wrote. “I’m doing great. A little sore neck and a bruised ego, but I’m fine.

“I decided to put a positive spin on this, and would appreciate it if someone who was in the theater last night would tell me that I gave such an engaged and electrifying performance that my body couldn’t handle it. and checked. That being said, apparently you’re supposed to do the whole show and not just three quarters. So I’ll be back with a vengeance tomorrow night.

“Thank you to the amazing theater team and my wonderful cast mates for being so lovely. But most of all I wanted to say thank you to Joel Harper-Jackson who stepped in to do the last part of the play. Joel is an actor amazing and a lovely person. Thank you, Joel.

Bruised ego aside, Taron probably killed the first half of the show (literally), and I wish him all the best in his redemption performance!
